Project Accountant Job Description by XL Construction:XL Construction is currently seeking a highly motivated Project Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment involving multiple priorities/tasks.
Responsibilities for this position include the following:Compile monthly owner billings and prepare ongoing analytical review in support of the monthly billing process. Process large volume of subcontractor invoices. Strong understanding of construction accounting process & able to provide support and guidance to Project Team. Effectively communicate with Project Managers and Subcontractors.
Requirements for this position include the following:Accounting experience and University degree required. Viewpoint and Construction experience an asset. Self-starter with attention to detail and a proactive approach. Positive outlook and a strong commitment to meeting deadlines. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high energy, demanding and team-oriented environment. Able to build relationships with both internal staff and external clients/subcontractors.
